Ashley Hart from Kansas City, Kan., was one of 18 students inducted into the Gamma chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, at the University of Kansas.
Hart and other top students in the KU political science department were honored recently at a recognition ceremony.
Students inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha had at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in all political science courses, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.4 for undergraduates. Graduate students inducted had at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. None of the inductees had a course grade lower than a B in any political science course.
