The Piper Public Schools will hold a facilities informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at Piper Middle School, 4420 N. 107th St., Kansas City, Kan.
A new high school at 131st and Leavenworth Road, and renovations to existing buildings, are part of a proposed $67.5 million bond issue. The bond issue cap would be $67.5 million and funds would be used for construction, equipment, furnishing and repairs.
Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions about facilities and bonds at the meeting Wednesday.
Ballots are being mailed to voters about May 20 in a mail-in bond election. The ballots are due back on June 9.
