An accident was reported at 8:51 p.m. Saturday, May 16, on I-635 north of Metropolitan Avenue.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Toyota Camry was northbound on I-635 when it hydroplaned, the driver lost control and struck the inside barrier wall.
An 18-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman was taken to a hospital with a possible injury, according to the trooper’s report.
