Kansas City, Kan., police are reporting a homicide near 60th and Parallel Parkway.
According to police, at 1:47 p.m. May 10, police responded to a call about shots fired in the 6000 block of Parallel Parkway.
When they arrived, officers found a man in his early 20s inside a vehicle, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
The identity of the victim will not be released until there is positive identification and family notification, police said.
The police major case unit is asking the public help in identifying a gold color Chevy sport utility vehicle. The vehicle has heavy front end and passenger side damage and is missing the headlight on that side.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s major case unit, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
