The Downtown Shareholders have announced that the Cinco de Mayo parade and festival planned for Saturday has been canceled because of the weather forecast.
The forecast for Saturday calls for rain and possible thunderstorms.
The sponsor, Bonito Michoacan, will be looking at having another festival in June, according to the announcement.
