A car overturned this morning on U.S. 73 near Parallel Parkway, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The accident happened at 6:17 a.m. May 1.
A Saturn northbound on U.S. 73 tried to avoid an unknown vehicle, and the driver of the Saturn lost control, according to the trooper’s report. The Saturn then entered the median and overturned, the report stated.
The driver of the Saturn, a 32-year-old Lawrence man, was taken to the hospital with a possible injury, according to the report.
