An accident on I-670 on Tuesday evening sent one person to the hospital, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
A trooper’s report stated that the accident happened on I-670 near Genessee Street, on the Kansas side of the state line, around 5:27 p.m. Tuesday.
A Chevy Impala was eastbound on I-670 when it struck the outside barrier wall, according to the report.
A passenger, a 31-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, was inured and taken to a hospital in Kansas City, Mo., the report stated.
The driver, a 36-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was not injured, according to the report.
