A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital this morning with a possible injury after an accident on U.S. 73 near Polfer Road in Wyandotte County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, the motorcyclist was southbound on U.S. 73, about 200 feet north of Polfer Road, when he realized he was not going to stop in time and laid the Yamaha bike onto its side.
The accident happened at 8:19 a.m. March 20.
The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man from Leavenworth, Kan., was taken to the hospital with a possible injury, the report stated.
