The Bishop Ward High School Drama Department produced the “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” musical this weekend.

More than 350 people attended on a Friday night. Not only friends and family but residents who enjoy theater and musicals came from all over the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Many of the students in the production are seniors.

The music was remarkable; the students who put on this musical did a fantastic job, in fact it is hard to describe the total jubilance of this production. Every one of the cast members knew the role and did very well. They sang their hearts out.

Not only did the performers do a fantastic job but the students and faculty behind-the-scenes did a fantastic job as well. At the end the audience gave the performers a standing ovation for a job well done.

The play will be performed again at 7 p.m. Saturday.
