The suspect from a shooting and carjacking investigation on Feb. 13 at 12th and Ruby has been identified, according to police.
A police spokesman said the suspect was Andres D. Lara-Rodriguez, 21, a resident of Kansas City, Kan.
The chase started with a carjacking in Bonner Springs and went through the Kansas City area before ending at 12th and Ruby in Kansas City, Kan.
Lara-Rodriguez was shot by three Kansas City, Mo., officers and one Kansas Highway Patrol officer at the end of the chase. The spokesman at the time said that the suspect displayed a gun.
