Gaming revenues for December were up about $1 million for Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, Kansas Lottery officials reported today.
Keith Kocher, director of program assurance and integrity for the Kansas Lottery, said revenues for December were $12.2 million at the Hollywood Casino.
That compares with $11.2 million in November and $11.3 million in October in casino gaming revenues at the Hollywood Casino, according to lottery figures.
Revenues were stagnant at Boot Hill Casino, Dodge City, Kan., at $3.3 million for December. The Kansas Star Casino, Mulvane, Kan., reported casino gaming revenues of $16.1 million for December, an increase of about $2 million over November, lottery officials said.
The process has started on getting a new casino for southeast Kansas, and there is an 11 a.m. Jan. 30 deadline for applications, according to Kocher. A new lottery facility review board has been appointed and has held a meeting for that process.
