Temperatures falling today

Temperatures will fall today to around 39 degrees by 4 p.m., as a cold front moves through, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Temperatures will hover around the 40 mark through some of the week, and return to a high near 45 on Friday, the weather service said.

Fog and drizzle will be possible in the region, according to the weather service.

Today, it will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures falling to 39 by 4 p.m., the weather service said. A southwest wind of 14 to 16 mph will gust as high as 28 mph.

Tonight, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 29, according to the weather service. There will be a west wind of 9 to 13 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Wednesday, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 39 and a west wind of 9 to 14 mph, gusting to 22 mph, the weather service said.

Wednesday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 26 and a west northwest wind of 10 mph, gusting as high as 18 mph, according to the weather service.

Thursday it will be mostly sunny, with a high of 38 and a west northwest wind of 6 to 11 mph, gusting as high as 22 mph, the weather service said.

Thursday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 24, according to the weather service.
