Seasonal temperatures return today with highs in the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Thanksgiving Day, on Thursday, will carry a slight chance of light rain with a high near 50 in some areas, although it does not show up at this time on the Wyandotte County forecast.

A weak cold front is moving toward the area today, having little effect on the weather than to lighten winds and limit mixing, according to the weather service.

Today, it will be sunny with a high near 54 and a southwest wind of 3 to 8 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be clear, with a low of 30 and a light and variable wind, according to the weather service.

Tuesday, it will be sunny, with a high near 56 and a light south southwest wind becoming southwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 32, according to the weather service, and a south southwest wind of 7 mph, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 57, the weather service said. A south wind of 6 to 11 mph will gust as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 39, according to the weather service.
