A shooting on Halloween night, Oct. 31, has left one person dead and others injured in the 1600 block of South 50th.
A spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department stated that officers were sent to the location around 9:06 p.m. Oct. 31.
When officers arrived they found a deceased person from an apparent gunshot and several others who were injured and taken to hospitals, the spokesman stated.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Major Case Unit, the spokesman stated.
