Today is the last day to register to vote before the Nov. 8 general election.
Residents may register in person at the election commissioner’s office at 850 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. Registered voters also may request an advance voting application at https://static1.squarespace.com/static/56606b47e4b0b9403ad6ff96/t/631a0e5c63f95c3a758fd60a/1662651996562/GN2022+AV1.pdf.
Advance ballots will be mailed from Oct. 19 to Nov. 1.
Advance voting in-person begins Oct. 24.
Voting in person also takes place on election day, Nov. 8, at the voter’s polling place.
