Gov. Laura Kelly, a Democrat, and her opponent, Republican Derek Schmidt, will debate on Wednesday, Oct. 5, on KCPT-TV, the PBS station in Kansas City.
The debate will livestream from the DoubleTree Hotel in Overland Park at noon Wednesday and will be broadcast at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Channel 19.1.
Nick Haines of Week in Review will moderate the debate in partnership with the Johnson County Bar Association.
