The driver of a Kia Forte was westbound on I-70 near the I-435 exit at 6:23 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, when the driver lost control on wet pavement, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s crash log.
The Kia then struck the inside barrier wall, the trooper’s report stated.
A 7-year-old Prairie Village boy who was a passenger in the car had a possible minor injury, according to the report.
The driver, a 37-year-old Prairie Village woman, was not injured, the report stated.
