The Central Avenue Betterment Association sponsored the annual Dotteversity Central Avenue Parade, running from 19th Street and Park Drive down to 11th Street and Central, ending at Bethany Park.

The weather was sunny and warm, with a few light clouds and a cooling breeze, and spectators lined Central Avenue all along the route, especially deep near the reviewing stand at the route’s end.

After the parade, crowds spilled into the park to listen to performances from the marching bands of each USD 500 school and to eat at one of the many food vendors set up there.

  1. I really enjoyed getting out in this nice weather we had to see the parade and was glad it was today cause I will be going to do chemo soon due to me having stage 4 cancer. So I rode my scooter from near 29th and wood to the parade and back
