The victim of a homicide about 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, in the 1300 block of Ray Avenue has been identified, according to police.
The victim was Bruce Nelson, 25, a police spokesman stated.
Nelson was taken to a hospital and died a few hours later from his injuries. He was a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, the spokesman stated.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit.
Anyone with information on this case was urged to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS. All tips remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward, the spokesman stated.
