UG plans infrastructure meeting this afternoon

The Unified Government Infrastructure Subcommittee will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in a hybrid format.

To be discussed are parks and recreation and UG facilities, phase 2, community engagement, according to the meeting notice.

The meeting will be in the fifth floor conference room, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas.

  1. I have requested several times that a sign be added to S 47th street just north of County line advising the hill prevents residents leaving their driveways to safely pull out onto the street.

    The Turner area is in need of some education regarding safety in parking lots. Pedestrian right away signs on the streets where businesses are. Example Turner Animal hospital and the Coffee Shop next to it. This area has been ignored while Village West is growing.
