Health screenings are planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at Donnelly College, 608 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
They are part of the African American Community Forward response through the Unified Government Health Department.
Included will be financial planning, free health screenings, job training and job-hunting assistance, health and nutrition information.
COVID testing, vaccinations and boosters will be available. Free physical and mental health screenings also are available.
Organizations participating in these events include the Kansas Black Farmers Association, Reliance Credit Union, Donnelly College and Wyandotte County Workforce Partnership.
