Warming trend starts today

A warm trend with dry conditions through Friday is in today’s forecast from the National Weather Service.

Today will be sunny with a high near 92.

There will be a chance of storms this weekend. At this time, the storms are not expected to be severe, the weather service said.

Temperatures are in the mid-90s for Thursday through Saturday, and will increase next Tuesday to around 98, according to the weather service forecast.

Today, it will be sunny, with a high near 92 and a calm wind, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 70 and a light and variable wind, according to the weather service.

Thursday, it will be sunny, with a high near 96, the weather service said. A light south wind will increase to 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Friday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 p.m., the weather service said. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 94 and a south wind of 6 to 11 mph, gusting as high as 23 mph.
