Slight possibility of snow in tonight’s forecast

While today’s high is in the 40s, tonight’s forecast contains the slight possibility of light snow.

Wednesday, there will be a 40 percent chance of snow showers before noon, according to the weather service. The high will be near 36 and it will be windy, with gusts up to 23 mph possible.

For Wednesday night, Christmas Eve, the forecast is mostly cloudy, then clearing, with a low near 26.

On Christmas Day, Thursday, temperatures will warm up and the high will be near 49. The wind will be from the south at 8 to 16 mph, gusting to 23 mph.

Thursday night, there will be partly cloudy skies with a low of 36.

Friday’s high will be 44. A cold front will move into the area late Friday or early Saturday, when the low will be around 23.

Saturday’s high will be 32 and Saturday night’s low will be 22.
