A shooting was reported about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, near the Parkwood Pool in the 900 block of Quindaro Boulevard in Kansas City, Kansas.
A spokesman for the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office stated that deputies responded to a call at that location and discovered an adult victim had been shot. The incident happened at a parking lot adjacent to the pool.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the spokesman stated.
The incident is under investigation by the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit, according to the spokesman.
