Showers and thunderstorms in Wyandotte County on Friday morning are expected to linger through midday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

A cold front will move in, bringing highs in the 80s today, the weather service said. Saturday should be sunny and calm, with a high in the mid-80s. Sunday will have another chance of rain.

A second round of thunderstorms is possible tonight, according to the weather service. Strong winds and hail are possible with the storms.
