The Fairfax Industrial Association and the Friends of Kaw Point Park are seeking volunteers to help with efforts at Kaw Point Park.
The volunteers would help with gardening and clean-up efforts. It is a combined effort of the Fairfax Industrial Association and the Friends of Kaw Point Park.
Gardening equipment and trash bags will be provided, according to the organizations, and volunteers should wear their own work gloves, sturdy close-toed shoes or boots and long pants.
Several times and dates have been scheduled for volunteers.
