Police are investigating an early morning homicide in the 5000 block of Oakland Avenue.
Kansas City, Kansas, police officers were dispatched to the area to assist the Fire Department and EMS, according to a police spokesman.
Officers found an adult male, the victim of a stab wound, the spokesman stated. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the spokesman.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating, the spokesman stated. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS. All tips will remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward, police stated.
