A double homicide is under investigation in the 2200 block of Birch, according to a police spokesman.
Kansas City, Kansas, police officers were dispatched to an apartment on a shooting call, according to the spokesman.
When they arrived, officers discovered two juvenile males inside the residence, the victims of apparent gunshot wounds, the spokesman stated. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department detectives are investigating the case, which is in the Major Case Unit.
