An early morning homicide in the 1600 block of Birch is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Officers responded to a dispatched shooting call at an apartment residence this morning, according to a spokesman for the police department.
When they arrived, officers found an adult male, the victim of apparent gunshot wounds, the spokesman stated. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
This incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477), police said. All tips remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
