Above normal temperatures are expected today through Friday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Temperatures could reach 55 today, and could hit 58 on Tuesday and Friday, according to the forecast. Clear skies and light winds are in today’s forecast.
Cooler air will move in Wednesday and Thursday, the weather service said. There will be some fluctuations of temperatures, with Thursday’s high at 49, and Saturday’s high near 40.
There is no precipitation in the forecast for the week in Kansas City, according to the weather service, although there is a small or limited chance of precipitation to the north of the Kansas City area on Friday.
Today, it will be sunny, with a high near 55 and a southwest wind of 5 to 13 mph, gusting as high as 22 mph, the weather service said.
Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 32 and a southwest wind of 7 mph, according to the weather service.
Tuesday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 58, the weather service said. A southwest wind of 7 to 10 mph, gusting as high as 20 mph, the weather service said.
Tuesday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 33 and a west wind of 7 mph, according to the weather service.
Wednesday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 54 and a west wind of 6 to 10 mph, gusting as high as 20 mph, the weather service said.
Wednesday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 27, according to the weather service.
Thursday, it will be sunny, with a high near 49, the weather service said.
Thursday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 40, according to the weather service.
Friday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 58, the weather service said.
