Kansas City, Kansas, detectives are investigating a homicide in the 1100 block of South 47th Terrace.
A police spokesman stated at about 11:13 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 1100 block of South 47th Terrace on a report of a person lying in the street.
When they arrived, officers discovered a deceased male who was the victim of apparent gunfire, according to the spokesman.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit.
