The victim of a shooting in the 2600 block of South 37th Street on Monday morning has been identified, according to police.
The victim was Roberto Antonio Alaniz, 41, a resident of the home, according to a police spokesman. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit.
