Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating a homicide at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, in the 6900 block of State Avenue.
When they arrived, police found a female in her late 20s dead from a gunshot wound in the parking lot.
The identity of the victim will not be released pending positive identification and family identification.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Major Case Unit, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
