Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department are investigating a homicide in the 1400 block of Southwest Blvd.
At approximately 10:53 p.m. Friday, Kansas City, Kansas Police Department officers were dispatched to the area on a shooting call, according to a police spokesman.
Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple individuals with injuries and one individual who was transferred to an area hospital where the person died of injuries, the spokesman stated.
At this time, there is no suspect information, according to the spokesman.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit.
