Baldwin, Kansas – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference announced the 2021 East Division I Men’s Soccer Postseason awards on Nov. 22. The KCKCC men’s soccer team had seven players named to the list.
Three men’s soccer players, Kaelan Debbage, Matheus Cunha and Jessy Zieta, were named to the First Team list, while Davit Cinchaladze, Pedro Faria and Christian Villegas were named to the Second Team. Thomas Lamaille was also named a KJCCC Honorable Mention.
Debbage appeared in 13 games and led the team with nine goals scored, five assists and 23 total points. Cunha appeared in 12 games and had six goals scored, four assists and 16 total points, while Zieta played in 13 games and took one shot as a defender. Cinchalazde played in 12 games and had two goals, one assist and five total points, while Faria played in 12 games and recorded 12 points, five goals scored and two assists.
Villegas played 13 games in goal and recorded 66 saves with a .710 save percentage and two shutouts. Lamaille played in 12 games and recorded one assist with five total shots.
Coffeyville’s Aleksander Mihaylov was named the East Division I Men’s Soccer Player of the Year and teammate Tahj Hilton earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Coffeyville’s Jerrid Schicke was named the Coach of the Year.
