A man is dead after an officer-involved shooting Monday afternoon in the 600 block of North 57th Street, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Two officers also were injured in the incident, the spokesman stated.
Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department and Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the incident, the spokesman stated.
A joint investigation is being conducted by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Major Case Unit and the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office.
