The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference announced the 2021 East Division I Women’s Soccer Postseason awards on Friday in Baldwin.
The KCKCC Women’s Soccer team had five players named to the list, led by Katharina Oelschlager being named the East Division I Player of the Year, as well as a first team member.
Oelschlager was the top offensive option for the Blue Devils as she totaled eight goals and three assists, along with 19 total points in 13 games on the season.
Lena Bauer, Jasmine Alcantara, Zoe Ganley and Grace Runyan were all named to the East Division I second team.
Bauer recorded two goals, four assists and eight total points on the season on 22 total shots. Alcantara recorded two goals and four total points with seven total shots, while Ganley took 22 total shots and recorded five points, three assists and one goal scored.
Runyan led the backline for the Blue Devils defense, while scoring one goal and totaling two points.
Butler Community College’s Adam Hunter and Ellie MacDonald were named the Coach of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
