A crash was reported on westbound I-70 at 12:25 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, near the 57th Street exit, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A 2013 Freightliner semi and a 2016 Kia passenger car were westbound on I-70 when the semi moved to the right and struck the Kia, the trooper’s report stated.
The Kia crossed all westbound lanes and struck the barrier wall, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Kia, a 44-year-old man from Topeka, Kansas, had a possible minor injury and went to the hospital, according to the report.
The driver of the semi, a 29-year-old man from Alamo, Texas, had no apparent injury, the trooper’s report stated.
