The victim of Wednesday’s homicide in the 7900 block of Sandusky has been identified as Isidora Garcia-Jimenez, 42.
Garcia-Jimenez was a resident of Kansas City, Kansas.
The district attorney’s office has charged Alyssa Leanne Arreola, 22, of Independence, Missouri, with second-degree murder and several other charges.
The other charges include attempted murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, three counts of burglary, three counts of theft of a firearm, theft of an automobile and possession of a stolen automobile. Her bail was set at a half-million dollars.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating. Anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS. All tipsters may remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
