A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect from 3:25 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, through 10 p.m. Sept. 20 for Wyandotte County and the surrounding area, according to the National Weather Service.
Johnson and Leavenworth counties in Kansas also are under the severe thunderstorm watch, along with several Missouri counties.
