Next year’s NASCAR races include two at Kansas Speedway

The schedule for next year’s NASCAR races has been announced, and it includes two at Kansas Speedway, one on Sunday, May 15, and one on Sunday, Sept. 11.

The Sept. 11 race, the Hollywood Casino 400, will be the second in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs and the next to last race in the Round of 16.

“Kansas Speedway is one of the most challenging tracks for NASCAR’s greatest drivers, which continues to make it a fan favorite on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule,” said Kansas Speedway President Pat Warren, in a news release. “And continuing to hold a prestigious slot in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs just adds to the intensity our fans enjoy at our track.”


In five weeks, on Oct. 24, Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, will be the host of the Hollywood Casino 400. Before the 2 p.m. race, there will be a pre-race concert by musician Mitchell Tenpenny.

On Saturday, Oct. 23, will be two races, including the Kansas Lottery 300 at 2 p.m., an Xfinity Series Playoffs Round of 8 race, and at 6 p.m., the ARCA Menards Series championship. The ARCA championship will be at the Reese’s 150.
