Several locations in Wyandotte County are offering food assistance.
A number of food pantries are distributing food in Wyandotte County, including many with Harvesters food network.
A list of the food pantries in the area can be found at https://www.harvesters.org/Get-Help/Service-Locator. Some of the pantries have changed to outdoor food distributions.
There also are regular drive-through food distributions, with volunteers loading food into trunks of vehicles. The times and dates are subject to change, according to the listing.

• Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S. 78th St., Kansas City, Kansas, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 8.
• Full Joy Ministries, 906 N. 17th St., Kansas City, Kansas, from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Sept. 9.
• Edwardsville Mobile Pantry, 696 S. 3rd St., Edwardsville, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11. This site requires pre-registration. Telephone 913-441-3707.
• Heaven Sent Charities, 500 Nebraska, Kansas City, Kansas, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.

• Sunset Hills Christian Church, 6347 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kansas, 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17.
• Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, at Harmon High School parking lot, 2400 Steele Road, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18.
• American Indian Mobile Distribution, at the Metropolitan Baptist Temple parking lot, 853 Washington Blvd., from 1 to 2:30 pm. Saturday, Sept. 18.
