Dispute over Amazon package may have led to Saturday homicide

A dispute over an Amazon package may have led to a homicide Saturday night in the 2200 block of Silver Court, according to a police spokesman.

A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death, police stated on Monday.

The victim was identified Monday as Travis Eugene Bowman, 27, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, the police spokesman stated.

The suspect, Darnell D. Walker, 35, also a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Bowman, the spokesman stated. Walker is being held in the Wyandotte County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
