A homicide was reported Saturday night in the 2200 block of Silver Court, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman.
Detectives are investigating a shooting at the location, the spokesman stated.
Officers were dispatched to the area at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, officers found a male in his late 20s who had been shot, according to the spokesman.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, the spokesman stated.
There is a suspect in custody, according to the spokesman.
