Several offices in the area will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6, for the Labor Day holicay.
The Board of Public Utilities business offices will be closed on Monday, along with the Unified Government offices.
The BPU’s emergency service will be available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. For power emergencies, customers may call 913-573-9522. The water emergency number is 913-573-9622.
According to the Unified Government, Waste Management will not collect residential trash and recycling on Monday, Labor Day. Residential collection will be delayed by one day that week.
