Although BPU’s business offices are closed on holidays, emergency service is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of Stewart Avenue, according to a police spokesman.
When they went to the location, officers discovered a deceased male juvenile with apparent gunshot wounds, the spokesman stated. As of Wednesday night, there were no suspects in custody.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, the spokesman stated.
