Flavors of Central Tour attracts 150 visitors

About 150 people participated in the Flavors of Central Tour on Saturday, May 1, in the Central Avenue area.

Participants toured restaurants and bars in the Central Avenue area of Kansas City, Kansas, and were able to sample food and drinks at over 20 local places. The event was sponsored by the Central Avenue Betterment Association.

The event started with registration at Bethany Park at 11th and Central, where there was also the La Placita Market. Several community organizations sponsored booths at the park.
