Stabbing reported

A victim told officers that after a verbal argument with the suspect, the victim was stabbed in the chest, according to a social media report by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The stabbing happened on Oct. 7 at 23rd and Victoria Drive area, according to the report. The suspect was located at the residence and taken into custody, the report stated.

Shooting reported on Cleveland

A shooting into an occupied home was reported Oct. 7 in the 900 block of Cleveland Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim heard gunshots outside his home, according to the report. When he checked, he found several bullet holes in the front door, the report stated.

Fire reported on North 26th

A fire was reported on Wednesday evening, Oct. 7, at 1519 N. 26th St., according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department.

Fire was showing from the second floor when crews arrived, the report stated.

After a search, firefighters found no occupants in the home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire was unknown and is under investigation, according to the report.
