A store in the 100 block of South 18th was robbed at gunpoint at 8:38 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
A suspect entered the store, pointed at handgun at two victims and demanded money, according to the report.
The suspect was last seen leaving on foot after emptying the register, the report stated.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, Aug. 4, for the primary election.
Registered voters may go to their assigned polling places and cast their ballots in the primary.
Those who vote in person will see social distancing and safety measures at the polls this year.
