Coleman on ballot for 37th District, House

Aaron Coleman, a Turner native, is seeking the 37th District seat.

Coleman has served as a Democratic precinct committeeman in Wyandotte County and as secretary of the Wyandotte County Young Democrats.

He is running “because I believe in a Kansas that works for every citizen, and not policies drafted by Statehouse lobbyists,” Coleman said in a statement announcing his candidacy.

He previously ran for governor and for the Board of Public Utilities, District 3.

While campaigning for governor, he had the opportunity to talk with Kansas residents. “I’ve heard their struggles, and I believe that the future of the people is distressed by represnetatives who have held office for too long,” he stated. “I seek to bring a fresh and caring view of every bill and issue that the legislature confronts.”
